Guest guest
Hello Shirley Digestive issues seem to a constant factor amongst fibro sufferers...... For MYSELF.... after many 'go in and look see's' and various pills and potions from the medical community.... they never could find anything wrong.... it was suggested I trial eating gluten free. I was in so much discomfort, and had been for so very long, that I agreed to give it a trial (BOOK: GLUTEN FREE FOR DUMMIES helped immensley)..... within a month I was making a big improvement, within 3 months I was about 75% better...... I WANTED 100%....... I took myself of lactose.... trialed all the lactose free stuff, that did not work.... read some more, and learned about CASEIN..... came off milk and milk products and WHAMMO....... I got the 100% which I maintain so long as I do not inadvertantly slip up...... have had to learn to read lables......... Am Curious as to wether A2 milk is available in the USA? It is a different protein in the milk (cows) and many folks who can NOT tolerate ordinary milk which is A1 protein, have absolutely no problems with the A2 milk...... it is avaialbale in Australia on the mainland in some areas.... just not here in Tasmania yet. I will trial it when I can get hold of some tho, because I do miss my milk.... but am better off without it to stop the belly swelling and pains and gas problems. Just sharing what worked for me. All the best.
