Guest guest Posted January 8, 2009 Report Share Posted January 8, 2009 I was diagnosed with fibro 10 years ago, but actually had it longer than that. We moved to Mid-Michigan 5 years ago. I still have not found a good fibro doctor. The Michigan winter has really made me hurt this year. In desperation I went for an office visit at the University. The doctor made me so angry, my fibro got worse. When I had asked her about fibro treatments, she said " Fibromyalgia patients are just introverted women who don't express themselves and hold everything inside. " She does not believe in giving pain medication for fibro. She does not give Lyrica because she does not like what it does. I am still furious. I did express myself.
