Hi All,

I am still trying to recover from moving this past weekend. I own a 2nd house in Durham NC (I live in Salisbury NC) that I've used as a place to stay when I go to Durham once a month to play Mah Jongg with my friends :-) I recently rented the house to someone, so I had to get all of my things out. My husband and I rented a U-Haul truck and on Friday the 13th (wouldn't you know) we moved everything--just the two of us. It was an awful day, it poured down a cold rain all day long. The truck got stuck twice in Durham, so we knew we wouldn't be able to get the truck down to our out-building here in Salisbury where we intended to store all of my things--we knew the truck would get permanently stuck down there. In the end we had to rent a storage unit and put everything there. So the move isn't over yet--when things finally dry out, we will have to move everything out of the storage unit and into our building here.

I am so sore and still feel exhausted. Prior to moving on Friday I had spent 4 days packing. The house wasn't full, but I still packed 50 boxes. Yesterday and today I am sitting here in my chair and not moving.

Pam,

Goodness Pam, yes you are in your chair and stay there for the rest of the day! Eat well, hydrate well and and be kind to yourself. Tea is wonderful, I love tea. You should see the cupboard above my stove. It is a treasure trove of teas. Therapeutic and just, like my perfumed Earl Grey, for pleasure. They conjure up memories of places, cafes, friends, conversations, moments of sunshine and happiness. Amazing how a little cup of tea can do so much.

I don't know if you have a laptop but there is a product you have to try. It helps so much with pain. Jeff rubs it into my back and it is a huge help. It is called Pain away salve. It has in it:

EVOO infused oil of- Ginger,St 's Wort, Golden Rod and Comfrey. Black Pepper, Rosemary, Cinnamon and Passion Flower Plant,

It has essential oils of Lemongrass,Wintergreen, Lavender and Cinnamon leaf, Vitamin E and beeswax for binding.

She has a shop on etsy http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=110805 Suebeebuzz.

I just thought I would pass that on because it really is a huge help.

So rest, sleep and repair.

Talk with you soon.

Healing hugs,

Sue

Hi Sue,

I do have a laptop, so I can stay here in my chair and grab the computer whenever I want. And I also love tea. I just keep it in a different cupboard . Sometimes I think I have every tea known to man, and I've never tasted one that I didn't like. So I drink lots of tea.

The Pain Away sounds great, I'm going to get some. My back is still really sore, it's hard to stand up. Monday we're going to get the remaining things from the house. I guess you know more than anybody that no matter how much pain we're in, we do what we have to do. But we sure do pay for it afterwards.
