Guest guest
I, too, have this nincompoop syndrome of which you speak because for the last 4 or 5 years I can't remember which is the spade and which is the club either. What is that all about? Pam H [HeidiLiane] KAREN H... , I'm so glad you went to the doctor for this, because I agree with Pam, it does sound like something more than just Fibro going on. The confusion at the bank ... the arm pain ... well, those go hand in hand with FMS but they also point to signs of strokes, etc. Rather than sit and worry, it is good you had it check out. I hadn't realized it until Heidi mentioned it that certain trigger points mimic a heart-attack. Also, I've been reading some of your earlier postings, and I can honestly say that I have never had the severity of pain that you have. I may have to have some "slight" assistance now and then, but never to the extent you need assistance. That is so pitiful, and I'll sure keep you in prayer. Speaking of those mind games, the other night a group of people at the camp ground had some sort of a "card Bingo" game (can't remember what it was called ... capeno, or something like that), and I had no trouble whatsoever with the hearts & diamonds, but when they would call out a "spade" or "club" my brain just could not identify them. The 2 people next to me kept pointing them out to me, which I'm greatful for, but still left me feeling like a nincompoop. ... ,_._,___
Guest guest
Hi and thanks for the advice. No I haven't had this checked out yet. The doctor I had gone to was my Gynecologist for a pre-op visit. I was actually on my way to see the doctor when all of this happened before that visit and then the next day as well. I haven't had those same symptoms since, but after my surgery I am definitely going to check into this. As I told someone else, I wasn't concerned until I read several of the posts and all pointing to the same mini stoke opinions. Do you know what type of doctor one would go to for this? One week I would just love to not have a doctor appt for something. I just chalked it all up to the Fibro once again. Yes unfortunately, I need assistance alot of the time and am mostly bedridden, but I could be much worse off than others who are much sicker or much worse diagnoses. I'll let everyone know once I've seen a doctor for this what they have to say. Again thanks so much. Guest guest
Ok thanks, wasn't sure what kind of doc, I'm just so tired of seeing so many, but unlike you I'm not getting anything resolved and just seem to be getting much much worse. Mark told me today that it just seems like I am so much worse than just a month ago. I'll give my PCP a call either Friday or Monday depending on how I feel after tomorrow and see who he can refer me to. I se a cardiologist, endo, PCp,GYN,pain managment too. so what is one more Dr as long as I can get my health in order. hugs heidi
