Happy New Year to everyone, too! You all are the best. We just came back

from a camping trip on Padre Island. So lovely, warm and nice to walk

barefoot in the sand and listen to the sound of the sea. Now we are back

home and it is snowing here in the mountains.

My resolutions are:

to get transportation for my son. (we live on a forest road so they do not

want to do it)

exercise more, eat better, lose weight

not worry so much

practice yoga again

keep laughing

get a will - do more long term planning for son

finish work on house (ha)

write poetry again and continue to crochet

practice being grateful

practice violin

I could go on and on!

peace,

Sandy in New Mexico, mom to 16 year old boy with autism and daughter who

just turned 14

Weve been doing this the past 2 years on another forum board and this

past year i posted several goals and i have either met several or

came really close to completing them. (though there are some that i

never even touched) Maybe i just had too many goals. lol

Lets see my first goal(or first on my thing to do list) is to make

soap. soap soap soap. I have made lotion, and i LOVE making scrubs

of all kinds. and I occassionally fiddle with M & P though i don't care

too much for the qualities of M & P too much. But i have been to

afraid to work with Lye. but i told meself that first thing after

the holidays i am going to do. and do it and do it. and try and make

a whole slew of soap.

Other goals include making a cataloge, working on other new lines of

products. Makeing and bringing samples to differant places,

especially those places who asked for them such as Joanns ect.

Working on many other projects such as the koala bears i started and

didn't finish, soap dishes, many spring crafts i have had plans for

for the past several years but never done yet. And helping to raise

money for endangered animals. I also hope to do more craft sales

then i did this past year. and get myself organized enough so that

when the holidays come around again i will be ready for them early

and can actually enjoy them. Is that possible??? Would be nice.

I have to stock up on soap too, bigtime. But its also time to do some

valentines stuf and I've got some ideas brewing. Beginning in December I

went into two other places to sell my wares so thats 5 total now in the

greater Rochester areas so that should keep my busy.

My goals this winter is to stock up the soap, and do a lot of experimenting

with MMU. I would love to get a new line going. Oh and also learn how to

maintain my own website and not rely so much on my hubby who never has the

time. I also want to try a few new products. Oh then in my spare time, and

I STILL have quite a bit of vintage costume jewelry that I need to research

and learn what I have here and figure out what I want to do with it. I

have already picked up beading again a little, and plan to start painting my

slates again soon.

I had a few resolutions that I finally gave up on after using them year

after year on New Year's Eve. LOL!

My new resolution after that is to set reasonable goals for myself and

stop making New Year's resolutions!!! I at least succeeded at that!!

Happy New Year all!!

I am spending my weekend moving! How fun! At least the weather

forecast seems to be perfect weather for it! It will be worth it, I

will get my soap work shop in the basement that I desperately need!

Peace,

Deanna

Loved it Pam oh so true I have a small book in my bedside table I need

to start to do ti again is write down 3 things that happened to me that

day I was thankful for. I wake up say dear Jesus pleas e be with me

through out this Day. take my Am medicine then I read my devotional

book write in my journal then have a prayer time where I pray for

everyone even cover people on the board .If few e-mail and I know

what they are going through I pray for them specifically with their

name too.

But yes I thank GOD for Little things like the rain we really need, a

rain bow one of my dogs giving me a lick or sitting in my lap.I was

once told when you're having a pitty parity remember someone somewhere

is having a rougher time and is worse off than you're now.

Be blessed Pam Heidi

Hi Pam - Thanks so much for sharing these potential resolutions. Most of the ones on the list I implemented years ago. They work so well for me in my journey. There are several on the list I need to revisit. I love the last line. "Remember that you are too blessed to be stressed." It is refreshing to see the actions I have taken in my own life contained in your friend's list. These words of wisdom are worthy of being shared with family, and friends.
