Their findings: Using a variety of screen sizes, they compared productivity of three groups of workers. Workers using the single 24-inch screen completed tasks 52% faster than those on the 18-inch. Using the dual 20-inch screens, workers worked 44% faster than on the 18-inch. It's interesting to note that when the screens were larger than 26-inches, productivity decreased. So, according to this study, the 24-inch monitor is the sweet spot in productivity and can be had for less than $300.
