Guest guest
Want More Time? Get a Bigger Screen Thursday March 18, 2010 Who couldn't use a few extra hours each day? Now I bet you're thinking: "Yeah, but that's just not possible." Well researchers at the University of Utah have found the secret. The simple decision to purchase a large screen monitor could save you up to 2.5 hours each day. Their findings: Using a variety of screen sizes, they compared productivity of three groups of workers. Workers using the single 24-inch screen completed tasks 52% faster than those on the 18-inch. Using the dual 20-inch screens, workers worked 44% faster than on the 18-inch. It's interesting to note that when the screens were larger than 26-inches, productivity decreased. So, according to this study, the 24-inch monitor is the sweet spot in productivity and can be had for less than $300. The best part of all is that there is no learning curve. Simply pick one up at your local tech store, plug it in when you return home and you can start saving time today. Now you can justify buying that bigger monitor. "It's not an expense, honey, it's an investment!" http://onlinebusiness.about.com/b/2010/03/18/want-more-time-get-a-bigger-screen.htm
