I probably wont be on here much due to the crazy weather & Fibro flares,until the weather calms a little,but I'll try to check in at least once a day. Sorry all! Regarding doctors & people frankly lying about Fibro,this is so very true!! In a lot of areas,not just mine. It's so OVER diagnosed that's sickening. That is one of main Fibro fights! A lot of doctors think it's a joke because other doctors,who simply don't know what is wrong with someone diagnose them with Fibromyalgia!! As far as the patient goes,they use Fibro as a excuse because they know doctors can't prove they have it or not. They look up all the symptoms & that's what they tell them they have! They do this to get out of work for a while,to try & get disability,etc...All of this is running ramped around all of us & that's one very big reason we are laughed at when we see all of these doctors! Yes,it's crazy on both ends,but it's done & done a lot!!! One of my major missions is to stop this!! Spread awareness & the truth about how we (the people that really do have Fibromyalgia) are being treated because of this misleading behavior from doctors & patients. I feel we'll never be heard until we are taken seriously. And where I'm from,unfortunately,Fibromyalgia patients are basically made a joke of! And I'm REALLY tired of this! I also wanted to comment about body temp. & panic attacks. My body temp. has ALWAYS been "High"! Basically since I was 18yrs old. I know this because I needed shots to work in my profession & they wouldn't give them to me because they always thought I was getting sick. After many tries,I finally made them realize that this must be my normal temp. It's usually between 99 & 100 & I'm 40yrs old now. The panic attacks,etc....This is no joke,Me & my Mom always use the age of 4yrs old because she knew I was a nervous kid before I ever started school. I was on downers?, I don't know what they may have been called,by the time I was in 6th grade. I had 3 months of school left & I couldn't go back to school due to being so nervous. So,I was tutored at home for a little while & then they just passed me. But I've had one type or another,nearly all,nervous problems to this day. This runs in both sides of my family & mostly the women. I'd also love to welcome our new group members! We're so glad you are here to share & learn with us! And thank you all so much for all your kind words when Pa. was having their ice storm. I really appreciated each & every one of them! What a kind & loving group of people here! Take care all!!
