Guest guest
Subject: Tag you are it! Good Afternoon , Beautiful ! IT'S BEAUTIFUL WOMAN MONTH & TAG YOU'RE IT! Did you know that it's Beautiful Women Month? Well, it is and that means you and me. I'm supposed to send this to FIVE BEAUTIFUL WOMEN, and you are one of them!!! Facts on Figures : There are 3 billion women who don't look like supermodels and only eight who do. Marilyn Monroe wore a size 14. If Barbie was a real woman, she'd have to walk on all fours due to her proportions. The average woman weighs 144 lb. and wears between! a 12-14. One out of every four college aged women has an eating disorder. The models in the magazines are airbrushed -- not perfect! A psychological study in 1995 found that three minutes spent looking at a fashion magazine caused 70% of women to feel depressed, guilty, and shameful. Models twenty years ago weighed 8% less than the average woman. Today they weigh 23% less. ~Beauty of a Woman~ The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, The figure she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman must be seen from her eyes, Because that is the doorway to her heart, The place where love resides. The beauty of a woman Is not in a facial mole, But true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives, The passion that she shows. The beauty of a woman With passing years -- only grows. An English professor wrote the words, " Woman without her man is nothing, " on the blackboard and directed the students to punctuate it correctly. The men w! rote: " Woman, without her man, is nothing. " The women wrote: " Woman! Without her, man is nothing. " The Images of Mother 4 YEARS OF AGE ~ My Mommy can do anything! 8 YEARS OF AGE ~ My Mom knows a lot! A whole lot! 12 YEARS OF AGE ~ My Mother doesn't really know quite everything. 14 YEARS OF A! GE ~ Naturally, Mother doesn't know that, either. 16 YEARS OF AGE ~ Mother? She's hopelessly old-fashioned. 18 YEARS OF AGE ~ That old woman? She's way out of date! 25 YEARS OF AGE ~ Well, she might know a little bit about it. 35 YEARS OF AGE ~ Before we decide, let's get Mom's opinion. 45 YEARS OF AGE ~ Wonder what Mom would have thought about it? 65 YEARS OF AGE ~ Wish I could talk it over with Mom. ***Please send this to at least five phenomenal women today in celebration of Women's History Month. If you do, something good will happen.... YOU will boost another woman's self-esteem!

Guest guest
Virginia You are so special ! Please Pray for he just arrived in Alaska for his next deployment Joe is home on leave from Iraq Thank you Blessings R Ladies My dear sisters, I just looked at this salutation and thought...should I really call you sisters? As I pondered it I thought, why not? After all don't sisters share with each other in good times and bad? Don't sisters have each others back? Don't sisters want the best for you and do what they can to help you? Of course there are some sisters who compete with each other and have poor relationship and don't love and cherish one another as they should but...sisters you are. Thank you all for the encouraging words as I shared some more of my words. I hope that they will help you through the day when it seems like just another day. Those times of life when it's in between the crisis and just before the bored to tears. I treasure the time we have together and look forward to your e-mails. It is similar to being states away and waiting for that newsy letter from home. ;-) Virginia Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsover things are honest, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Guest guest
Dear Connie, It's good to have sisters. It doesn't bode too well for the fellas though. I guess they could be our brothers as well but they seldom post and when they do it is usually with good info. So...here's to our Life Lift Family! Yeah ;-) Virginia --- Connie Miskinis <conistar@...> wrote: > Dear Virginia, > I think sisters is a perfect word for us. Guest guest
, I called and we lifted the boys up. (We do many other times in prayer also) Also, we pray that this momma would experience the peace that passes all understanding that keeps our hearts and minds through Jesus. Amen (hugs)Virginia --- Rettig <drettig@...> wrote: > Virginia > You are so special ! > > Please Pray for he just arrived in Alaska for > his next deployment > Joe is home on leave from Iraq > > Thank you > > Blessings > R > Ladies > > > My dear sisters, > > I just looked at this salutation and > thought...should > I really call you sisters? Guest guest
Me too . My real life sister (same dads, different moms) and I didn't form the relationship that I had always hoped for and dreamed of but, I am wiser and more understanding of the things that kept us apart through the years. At least a lot of the questions I had growing up have been answered. Lots of tears but also several treasures to carry forward. ;-) Virginia --- <brellegood@...> wrote: > I would be proud to have you all as sisters.
