Guest guest
Thanks Sue - I will get all of your Kauai hot-spot-tips before we travel there. Nothing beats recommendations from someone who has walked the walk. And, you were married there too...how romantic! The video link I gave (the one below) when you click on the volcano in the right photo-shots. Is this volcano on the island of Kauai? I'm having one of those fibro-fog-moments. So now...I am not certain. Please let me know so I can tell . Grateful Hugs 'n Smiles Carlene http://www.gohawaii.com/stories/stories.html?video=18 & cid=2009r3stories_kauaihome >> > Oh, if you go let me know. We know all the best places to eat. All the best farmers markets and the best hidden beaches. The best book to buy is the The Ultimate Kauai guidebook by Doughty. I know the best spa {of course} and all the best places to have the most scenic drink. Jeff and I were married on the island. So don't forget to check in before you have a holiday there. We feel like we are home the moment we step off the plane. You will love it.> > Sue
Guest guest
Thanks for your insider-tips, Annette. The 'tour trip' on Maui sounds great! The cold, and me, do not go together, either. Kauai must truly be a beautiful destination. It is the mention of "wild boars" that raises alarm bells. They can be ferocious creatures. Still, that will not stop us from visiting Kauai, one day. I read in one of Doctor Wayne Dyer's books that he lives (and loves it) on the island of Mauai. Sounds like you have enjoyed some wonderful trips! Cheers 'n Smiles, Carlene. >> Kauai doesn't have any active volcanoes that I remember when we were last> there. Maui which we have been to several times has the crater you can> actually walk in. This volcano is dormant and has a shell over it and> people can actually camp on it. We've been twice and have friends that> live on this island. When we stayed we rented a house and stayed on the> west side of the island which meant more rain.
