Hi Vicki!

Many of us have had a similar experience to what you are

describing... Classic gallstone symptoms, but they do not show up on

an ultrasound.

Doctors like to call this gallbladder sludge. It is most likely

cholestorol chunks that do get stuck in the ducts. I believe that

many people have calcified stones that show up on an ultrasound, but

they are silent stones that cause no pain. The problems come from

the sludge that builds up even faster for those who have calcified

stones.

This is why the " flush " is often effective for those with " stones "

showing and those with sludge. Removing the sludge with a flush

often helps for 3-9 months. A change in eating habits, EFA's,

Lecithin and lots of water are needed to maintain a healthy gb.

Pain under the right rib cage is classic of gb pain. Also, gnawing

pain or discomfort between the shoulder blades of the back is a sign

of a clogged gb. These two things tell me when it is time to " flush "

again.

Thanks Gordon for the tip on taking pancreatin too long. I kind of

suspected that it could cause the pancreas to stop producing as much

as it should. On the othehand... if you are not getting enough in

the body, perhaps a month of taking just a little will give the

pancreas a needed rest!

I don't take enzymes every day or at every meal. I do take them when

I have a large meal!
