Hi Everyone - Regarding the previous "Copper" article I noticed a comment from one person about "copper levels being low in denture adhesive users due to the zinc content." So I started Googling in earnest. Because up until ten years ago I had used denture adhesive powder for over twenty five years. I always knew that the adhesive substance was dissolving in my system. I simply did not know the negative health impact that may have been occurring.

For those of you who may be concerned about zinc toxicity through the use of denture creams and powders here are a few articles to get you started. Once you start doing your own follow-up research you may be surprised (no, shocked!) like me to discover that the seemingly innocent tube of denture adhesive may be setting you up for future "neurologic abnormalities."

Much peace, relaxation, and health enhancement to all.

Cheers Carlene
