Three Centimeter, or almost one and a half inch, stones?!! What did you do

with them? Did you cut or crush them to see if they had the chunkiness of

the green waxy substance cholesterol? Was it solid green in the middle, or

did the colors change? When did you do this?

Bill, i do agree somewhat with what you say. That is why I have three stones

remaining in my gallbladder! But, i do know that after several flushes and

passing two large " objects " that my gallbladder felt different. Less

movements in it. I tend to agree with ken that cholesterol stones move much

more easily than calcified. laura

Bill, I believe it is possible. My picture, posted in the Files on egroups, shows a stone that I passed which is 1.7 cm or 17 mm in diameter along with some others there too. Where you aware of the tool that surgeons can use to extract large gallstones called a basket? In fact the one shown being removed looks very similar to some of the ones I've passed. It expands to more than a 1/4 of an inch for wrapping around a stone.

Hey, if women can pass a baby through an area as small as the cervix, by 10 plus times its size, I certainly can't see any problem with the common bile duct stretching that far either. You can just imagine my surprise at finding I'd passed stones the size I've posted for all to know they can be passed, and with very little discomfort for a few days afterwards.

This was noted with the last ultrasound that was done at the time of the

last attack that led to an emergency room visit. The doctor was concerned

because of the enlarged ducts, and the hepatitis B and C readings of the

blood tests done a couple of weeks latter. I'm sure the passing of stones

had a lot to do with the ducts being enlarged.

I was also noted as having elevated bilirubin, ALT, AST, and ALK with a

blood test. That test was done in November as a follow-up a week, or two,

after my attack. My urine was dark, and that was why I went back to the

doctor to have a blood test done. However, I received my book " The Liver

Cleansing Diet " about that same time and in a few days after that I changed

my diet. I started eating EFA types of food and taking oils too and within a

day or two things started clearing up. It's been pretty much smooth sailing

since then.

I haven't been back to have an ultrasound done as yet but I'm sure things

are going to be much better as my skin and general health have been doing

quite well. One of these days I do intend on getting another blood test done

and perhaps an ultrasound too.
