I have become increasingly concerned about so many of you who suffer this way. I contacted my herbalist last night and had a very long conversation with her about possible natural remedies and aids. She told me she has a couple of products she has used with incredible success for many years and she is going to send them to me for testing. One is specific for headache, and one is for pain in general, but she has put some interesting combinations together and based on all of my past knowledge they make sense. If this works I will make these available to all of you. They are very inexpensive and applied topically so I am very interested. I know how it feels to be overwhelmed with pain and illness, and then to find the joy of breaking free from it all. I want to do everything I can to help you feel better.

I will keep you posted. Lets all have a big deep breath and say a prayer that this will be helpful to all of you who are suffering.

I had her rush shipment to me, so I will be on this right away.

Love and hugs to all of youRashelle

This last weekend was a hard one to get through, aches, pains, brain fog, fatigue. etc... well, I got an appointment with a rheumatologist in three weeks so I will at least have a diagnosis or a differnet finding. At least I don't think I am loosing my mind. This has been going on for a few years with no success in a diagnosis or anything conclusive. so thank you Kate, Shanni and Marie for answering my note. I had been doing some research on the net today and bought a great book another friend recommended, by Devin J. Starlanyl, MD. It is called The Fibromyalgia Advocate, the other one she recommended wasn't in,Fibromyalgia and Myofascial Pain Syndrome: A Surival Guide.Hey Marie, glad I could help. I would also recommend a couple of moderately priced salon lines by Matrix, either Matrix Essentials or Biolage. They are very good and very widely used in most moderately priced salons, even the top end salons use them. Take care all and thank for the help.. I have been doing oxygen based excercises since Jan 30 and these have helped tremendously. LL has been very stress reducing for me and when I get down and don't do them I get worse. Thanks for everyone's help. W from Oz

Hi ,

I am so sad to think you are still so down under the weather. I will ask her to send me more, in the beginning she was just going to send a small amount, but I will check it out first and then get more for you to try.

You are no dummy, but you can be my tester. I love you dearly, and hope you feel better soon.

Rashelle

I so appreciated the encouraging words and honesty about how you are dealing w/fibro.

15 yrs. since my diagnosis. I suffered so long have no idea when fibro grabbed me.

Tried to pretend I did not have it for the first five.

Lexapro gave me a quality of life better than I had ever known. But nothing works 100%

of the time.

Smoking is something I used to do and just might try again. The relaxing effects of mj could not hurt.

I am currently seeking a psychiatrist/expert in pain management and preferably very fibro knowledgable.

Egads after struggling w/depression/pain/insomnia and learning so many coping skills and still we get drug into the tunnel of despair. Is there hope we can ever manage it forever?

Any one know of good docs in myarea. I have spent the past 3 days surfing the net, AMA, Psychology Today, Yellow pages

looking for the saint of a Dr. who can help.

I've had fibro for about 42 years. It came along with a very bad childhood and parents. I can't even remember how many doctors I've seen in 42 years but NONE of them believed me or did anything to help me. That's when I asked myself, if MJ can help AIDS and cancer patients with pain, why couldn't it help me too. And I also think I have my breast cancer back, this time on the right. I had an MRI guided needle biopsy today. But this time the cancer is way to close to the lymph nodes. My mother died of breast ca/lymphoma, as well as two of her sisters. One of those sister's daughter, just had both breasts removed with reconstruction due to breast ca. The weird thing about all our cancers is that I got mine much much earlier in life than all of them including my mother. Its in God's hands now.
