Guest guest
Hello fellow fibromites, Do any of you know about ANA w/reflex and/or Sed Rate lab work? My ANA was 185 and normal range (on this report anyway) is 0 - 99. My Sed Rate was 34 and norm (on this) says 0 - 15. Another thing is the RNP Antibodies were also high. 185... Normal 0 - 99. My PCP is referring me back to the rheumi that has basically already told me there was nothing more he could do for me and had me crying. (Nice, huh?) He did have me on Lyrica, but seemed I was so irritable even after months and gained MUCH weight on it. My PCP helped " wean " me off of it a couple of months ago. I'm staying swollen in ankles nearly everyday now, but weather is getting cooler here in East TN so that may explain a lot of the aches and pains. Just feeling BLAH! Any help would be appreciated!!! Gentle hugs to all, in TN
Guest guest
, the Sed rate is an inflammatory marker in the blood, the higher the number the more inflammation you have, the Ana and rnp are test for RA and other immune disorders, the rhuemi is the correct Dr to treat these. With the ANA and RA being high, it is no wonder that your Sed Rate is high. Yes the weather can play a big factor in your pain levels, whether it be fibro or another form of arthritis.
