Dear ,thank you for your suggestion to build a bigger Beck Zapper with 9V battery to let more current flow into the skin. But I´ll not build a new Beck Zapper, because my experience shows me, that a current more than 1mA is not necessary for an effective blood electrification, because for most people, the pain level already starts at 800 Microamps. His has nothing to do with the material of the electrode, and now I explain to you (the second time) why this is so:If you use cotton or felt, it is more the tingling of the pulses

which feels uncomfortable. When you use bare metal and electrode gel, than

you feel more a biting at your skin. But in practice it plays no matter, if you adjust the current level according of the tingling or the

biting: In any case people will adjust the current to a level, where the tingling or biting doesn´t feel uncomfortable.If you use bare metal, the only disadvantage is, that you have to pay attention to repeatedly apply electrode gel to equal skin resistance over all the contact area between electrode and skin. If you don´t do so, then skin irritations like red dots and so on are more likely to occur.Besides: Because I know about this problem, I´m still searching for a new material to reduce the risk of getting these red dots. There is disagreement between us and it looks like it’s inevitable.Here is my idea for you: whay don’t you just build another zapper, maybe not so cute and nice as miniZAP, it could be bigger, with 9V battery, wrapped electrodes etc. With a lower price than miniZAP. I mean original Beck device. That would be your offer for those, who for some reason want to stick to original Bob Beck protocol. Perfect solution for discussion like this. Then you could say: „if for any reason you don’t want my improved version of Beck unit â€" here is original for youâ€�.As far as I know Bob Beck gave the schematics for free to all of us, so why not to try it?
