Isn't this a yucky subject to be writing about? Sorry to be so

explicit but I think everyone needs to feel free to ask and receive

supportive response. Good to know we are not suffering alone.

I really appreciate the responses I have been getting to my first post.

What I am learning is that usually the IBS flare-ups occur and after a

bout of diarrhea it gets better. That is what I do remember happening

to me several times over four years ago before my surgery. Then there

was a time, while the doctors did several tests, that the lower abdomen

constantly felt irritated. Which, if I remember right, is what I am

going through now. I have been able to eat again, however, because of

the meds taken,(only two days)little toilet calls. Anyone out there

had problems in their intestines from mid to lower back problems? I

thank the gal who wrote about Librax. In searching my files I

discovered that is the medication I was on prior to my surgery. Maybe

I will need to get back on that.........shucks!
