Randy may I suggest that you take what you can use from this group, and leave the rest for those that may not mind, or can tolerate and appreciate it. I've been a member of this group for many years, and what was shared is not new for many of us. There can be many conversations going on at the same time in a group. If you can't relate to a particular conversation, then assume that it's none of your business. If that's the case you can start your own conversation for others to participate in that you can relate to. What some may see as conspiracy, others may see as truth based on their personal experience. Having met Dr. Beck, I'm sure that he would be OK with people like Bettiebee that thinks out of the box as he did. Dr. Beck refused to be shut up by the loud mouths wearing the perfectly fitting, but ugly shoes.

Now Randy, do you have anything to share with us that you feel appropriate? Your attempt at moderating falls a bit short in my opinion. Again, I look forward to seeing your example of what's appropriate in a post. If it's a question, and you are nicer to the group, maybe one of us will reply.

And others send chit chat comments with misleading subject lines. I far prefer the "conspiracy" links since the mainstream media is such unadulterated horse manure. Does anyone think the natural cures we've discovered would be relegated/ridiculed or the toxic "meds" underwritten by corporations and bent scientists not exposed if there weren't a conspiracy afoot? We're here as we've begun to break free of Dr. Pavlov's "your Dr. and the FDA know best" mantra, no? If she's bounced, I say, "Thank you" and you've done what little Ghandi said you must.

I agree. The conspiracy links are better then listening to a pharma medical add for a glorious new pill, with its list of harmful side effects. I'll assume that anyone taping electrodes to their skin, drinking silver particles and ozone dissolved in water, and waving electromagnetic fields over their body, has had, at least a few, second thoughts about taking the newest pill from a standard doctor.

Especially since doing these funny protocols seem to work. (This is not a testimonial, I've just heard that maybe, ...)

Unfortunately there is a large amount of hype for all kinds of things. Anyone venturing into the alternative world is going to have to do their own thinking and research. Things we had hoped our doctors, with years of schooling, had done for us.

I have definitely learned some interesting and helpful things from some of the non-Beck device posts.

However, posts that are titled "When will the rest join?" is one of the many examples of spreading propaganda through guilt and/or fear. Why not just say, "Here is an alternative site to check out." And leave out all the HUGE YELLOW different font silliness. I think we can get it without the gimmicks.

Just my thoughts on the first Sunday of the new decade. Happy New Year!

Hi Dotsie,

As much as those posts were off topic, the MMS draw testimonies which I

would find a positive input even on Beck group as it concerns health.

The rest with the political context are indeed way off topic, but I

personally do not mind, because politics is a health issue as well,

albeit social, rather then personal.

So, I would not have any beef with you allowing them, even though I

would hate to see this group to be denigrated to political and other

social bickering as I have seen to happen to so many poorly moderated,

or non moderated interest groups.

I think it is on-topic, since it deals with the death-wish Beck spoke of that

prevents people from using the protocol (in addition to disbelief).

There is in all living things, both a survival imperative plus a death-wish.

This would have to be so, since we have offspring and we die.

The film deals with the death-wish that prevents people from taking action when

they should do so for survival. It is a herd instinct for some animals to

simply die off once in awhile, even if the supply of food and water is

sufficient. Since killing or even suicide is frowned upon and also is painful

and resisted by the body, people will be found who do the same thing in a

pleasant way, with food, drink, etc.

This is partly why people will do harmful things if they are pleasant and " ok'd "

by the society, it covers all sorts of things, smoking, drugs, violence as a

religion, etc.
