An interesting site for help with groceries.

I belong to a group from my hometown, and one of the gents there sent this in. I checked it out and looks like a good deal for those with limited incomes, thought you might like to check it out and save for reference for yourself or anyone that might need it. Just Google - Angel Food Ministries or go directly to the the following web site: http://www.angelfoodministries.com/ .This is a total non-religious site that provides discount food with no qualifications. We tried it last month and found the food while not exceptional, it was acceptable. It came frozen and warped. It also contained canned good and dry packaged foods. It is only available in certain states so check the web site to see if your state is participating in the program. New states are being added all the time as well as new distribution sites. Again, it is non-religious and no financial or income qualifications. The only thing is you have to order by the dates on the sites and pick up the food about 2 - 3 weeks later. The usual distribution site is a church.

Yes one on our side of town looks good.I also go to

gleaners harvest for there free food give away for a small donation,

get cleaning, bath and beauty supplies at dollar general only 8 miles

from us.with SO much for Gas we even have to pick between church and

Dr, go get meds and Church too especially when we are on a fixed

income even below poverty level.But I think it will get worse. My mom

said ti will as long s gas keeps going up too. but this does look

good .They even have good meat packages too. Heidi
