Guest guest
My friend developed this hoping to market it but is caught in red tape as to its proper designation by Agriculture Canada - would cost him 25-40K to get it accepted as category designation is very tight regarding terms of action - i.e. is it a fertilizer, etc. so he makes small amounts and sells to several golf courses etc. and what it does is stimulate a healthy population of beneficial soil microorganisms that facilitate uptake of nutrients to growing plants, enabling them to grow more vigorously, resistant to disease, etc. He has told me that the brew will clear up the fungus and I've emailed him to have him describe mechanism of action against fungals and will post to group when he replies in the next day or so. Here is a small excerpt from the label, by kind permission of Rick Haynes. " Natural Yard is a product that helps balance soil biology. The microbes living in the soil are critical to soil quality. They affect soil structure and therefore soil erosion and water availability. These microbes help protect turf, shrubs trees and crops from pests and disease. They are central to decomposition and nutrient cycling and therefore affect plant growth and amounts of pollutants in the environment. Natural Yard is designed to provide the proper balance of nutrition for the incredible diversity of organisms that make the soil a living, healthy substrate for the exchange of life giving nutrient interactions. Without these interactions, the transference of nutrients leads to poor plant health causing stress and ripe conditions for non-beneficial organisms to flourish. Plants and micro-organisms have their own natural defenses against various invasions by dangerous bacteria, viruses, fungi and insects. By providing basic nutrition to micro-organisms, the soils web of life can maintain their own natural defenses against natural and man-made stresses. The ingredients in Natural Yard help feed the microbial populations necessary for healthy soils. Your yard should use half the water to stay green. Synthetic fertilizers can be reduced by two thirds to three-fourths the recommended application rates with the use of Natural Yard to achieve the same results, thereby reducing the nitrogen and phosphate load entering the environment. Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. If distressed seek medical advice. Natural Yard contains no hazardous ingredients. Depending on amount ingested, a mild to moderate case of diarrhea may occur. Ingredients: Water, plant extracts, saponin, sarsaponin, glucosides, xanthene, amino acids. Sulfates of cobalt, copper, dihydrogen, iron, magnesium, manganese, zinc and all-natural proprietary ingredients. " Will post info when he responds. Hope this helps a bit. > > , please tell us what the microbial soil stimulant stuff is. I have this fungus on my right big toe following an accident. Do you think ozone treatment woul be a good way to go ? > > carl > . > Friend is sending me a jug of microbial soil stimulant safe for skin which he says gets rid of toenail fungus. Also read an article that enzymes in ground cornmeal will destroy toenail fungal infection by gobbling it up. I'm going to be trying both and let you know how I make out. > > > --- >
