Guest guest
V, Look at the datasheets. They will spec out the wavelength tolerance. I found that most LEDs have about +/- 10nm, so I doubt if you'll get light in the 660nm band. 75 x 12,000mcd is BRIGHT!! Nicely done. Guest guest
Hey Robb, Look at the specs, there should be data for mA ratings at 10% duty cycle. IR leds can be pulsed up to 100mA!! Guest guest
hi Russ Thanks yeah I noticed. I will be building some other ones too as soon as I find the leds. got a source for green ones now just need some red ones that are dirt cheap tha are the bright. Guest guest
Hi Robb, Can you give links to actual websites, studies, etc. that I can review the research on LEDs used to kill pathogens? Thanks, Russ :>) > Hi.......I don't know about IR led's.....but NEAR ir LED's do indeed kill pathogens and has been proven to work on blood treatments by Bradley......I have an array that kills strep throat on everyone ever tried on in less than a hour.......also stops the flu and earaches........wonderful addition to anyones arsenal......Robb > Harmony4Life > The High Power Magnetic Pulser > http://www.angelfire.com/electronic2/magneticpulser/ > IR LED light therapy > > > Are there any studies on if IR LED light therapy Kills viruses ?
