Guest guest
Something is wrong with my temperature control mechanism also. I sweat most of the time. Very annoying. I didn't have hot hands or feet, just all-over sweating. (Of course, living in humid Florida doesn't help.) I'll be interested to read other responses to this as well. I am pretty sure it is not hormone-related for me. > > I've been dealing with " hot " feet for a long time, but recently my > hands have started doing that same thing. This is very strange. Guest guest
I don't think mine is hormone-related since it started a couple of months ago. I did have a complete hysterectomy back in May, but have been on estrogen since. It's a very odd feeling... aggravating to say the least. Thank you for your reply to this. Guest guest
Very interesting. Good point. Might try this! I eliminated sugar totally from my diet about 20 years ago, but slowly have slipped back into eating the stuff! > > > Hi Dominie and , I wonder if the sweating and 'hot' hands and feet have anything to do with your diet... or maybe your meds. A couple of years ago I eliminated sugar from my diet (well, not completely, it sneaks into everything) and my night sweats and burning hands and feet completely disappeared. I received a reminder of how bad it can be this week with everything I ate at Christmas. ;-) Anyway, just a thought. > http://puzzles.sympatico.msn.ca/chicktionary/index.html?icid=htmlsig >
Guest guest
That very well could be a lot of it! I've been eating TOO many sweets the last week or so - I will try to notice the difference as I cut them out (well at least cut way down). Thanks so much!! > > > > > > Hi Dominie and , I wonder if the sweating and 'hot' hands and > feet have anything to do with your diet... or maybe your meds. Guest guest
i know someone with hypoglycemia (which a previous article mentioned in connection with the night sweeets) and he says that cinnamon supplements can aid in regulation of blood sugar and along with trying to avoid sugar this has helped quite well with these kinds of symptoms (and i guess it gives you fresh cinnamon breath as well, lol) blessed be liz <funny_dumplin@...> wrote: That very well could be a lot of it! Guest guest
I have that problem! I sweat at the drop of a hat now all the time, but even while I sleep. I have dealt with hot burning feet and hands now for almost 2 yrs. I was first diagnosed with RSD that explained the sweating and burning hands and feet, then 1/2yr later diagnosed with fibro and lupus. I am so sorry to hear about your problems and hope they find something to help you. I am still looking for hope but my insurance is dictating my treatment! Very frustrating. Most treatments are not working anylonger, and my dr. expected it would happen. They put me on stronger and stronger pain meds and aren't doing much to make the symptoms go away. Please pray for me. Guest guest
Joyce... I am so sorry to hear of your increased pain. I had never heard of RSD before you mentioned it and after reading about it, many of the symptoms sound very familiar to me as well. I am considering printing some of the articles I have read and taking them to my rheumatologist with me. I don't want to " suggest " I have this condition, but rather I am looking for answers as to the explaination of the many things affecting my body right now. I appreciate your time and telling me about this. I pray your pain decreases and your comfort level increases. Many blessings, > > > > I've been dealing with " hot " feet for a long time, but recently my > > hands have started doing that same thing. This is very strange.
