Sorry, but I have to chime in here. This circuit is one of many

Cranial Electro-Stimulation units, however it does not output the

same waveform as Bob Beck's Brain (Bio) Tuner. I am not saying that

this circuit won't work, but I am saying that it does not match the

output of Bob Beck's unit, so please do not expect the same results.

Again, I am sure it has merit in its own right.

Just an honest and ub-biased observation.

both bob beck and some folks in australia making a " black box " apparently

claim credit for their devices curing the heroin addiction of pete townshend

(the who) but the interviews with pete indicate the device was created,

refined, and therapy administered in the british isles by meg patterson, who

also used it on keith richards and eric clapton and others for the same

purpose. meg was described to have fussed with the output frequencies to

hit on the correct ones (no details of that process).

brain tuner software claims to generate brain wave freqs equaling alpha,

beta, theta (?), (whatever... i forget) states.

what is the principle behind beck's brain tuner? does it use these

brainwave state freqs selected individually, or in some programmed sequence,

or one or none of them?

i'm looking for the endorphin trigger effect to deal with tobacco addiction.

i can kick tobacco if i substitute it with something else, and kick that by

substitution also, but i'd rather just learn to dial in my own fix with

meditation which it seems i need some kind of a device to help learn.

actually, i'd prefer to just smoke premium cigars...but the health impact

expectations and current effects tell me i must give them up or get

miserably sick and die.

so, is the beck BT similar to the patterson device in output? did beck

refine or clone the patterson device or vice-versa?

just what freqs, waveshapes, amplitudes, pulse patterns, whatever, does it

output? and how does it compare to pattersons (same output questions)?
