Guest guest
Hi all! I am new as well and have had fibro for a long long time. Can't remember exactly how long-probably 10 years or so. I am an RN who specialized in NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) or sick babies. I just won disability about a month ago because I could no longer work due to fibro fog and the fact that I had to take strong meds to relieve the pain. I live in Georgia and really like it here-today it was 80!!! Woo hoo! I am so glad we will have this group-I have been with Dominie since she first started her site. I appreciate all she has done and continues to do for us. This is a great idea-to get together so we can share things. I look forward to getting to know you all better! Guest guest
I can't wait to hear more from you women who have dealt with fibro long enough to know what helps. I also need the fellowship this website will provide; I rarely make it out of my home due to pain. Thank you for these quick responces. This is going to be a wonderful avenue for comm- unication and friendships! Praying we all have a pain free evening! Joyce Newbie too Hi all! I am new as well and have had fibro for a long long time. Guest guest
As you get rid of offending foods you should notice good changes in how you look and feel. You should begin to be able to tell by how you feel what foods are not good for you, even if they are on the OK list. If your overall health is good, it shouldn't be a serious problem to eat an avoid food - if it is generally a healthy food (fresh fruit & veges) and you only do it occasionally. And it doesn't make you feel bad. Guest guest
Thanks and K for your information. I will do as you suggest and reread the chapter. My mom has the book and I will be at her house in a couple of weeks and will read it there.
