Helen,

Nice to hear from you again sweetie. I'm sorry that I've not

been around much either. I've been feeling pretty sick not only

b/c of the usual aches and pains but b/c I've also got a cold

that may be the flu. I can't say for sure if it's the flu but

if it is there's no way on earth that I'm going to get a flu

shot. I would rather handle it like I'm doing now than to get a

shot and find out that it didn't do much for me. Also I found

out that those flu shots are made out of eggs. I found this out

from a program about flu and cold on Discovery Health. No, I'm

not allergic to eggs but I just thought I would pass that on.

I see my gyn today. I was supposed to have seen her two weeks

ago but I didn't b/c she had to treat me for a yeast infection

over the holiday.

Then if that wasn't enough I've been trying to get the nonsense

with the ins co straightened out and thankfully that is taken

care of. My dr is trying to get on this provider list but that

won't be until Feb depending on the contract. But if she

doesn't ever make it to the list I'm willing to pay out of

pocket to see her b/c I will not see any of the drs on the plan

b/c I don't trust them to take care of me b/c of the complexity

of my situation and b/c of my need to have pain meds b/c I'm in

so much pain most of the time. Having the endo and the

vulvodynia fight each other for control of my body is a true

test of my patience.

Other than that I'm still hanging in there and trying to get the

other stuff for the job that I'm trying for taken care of. I

was told by the HR recruiter for this hospital that the manager

of the department that I'm trying for wants to hire me. This is

for a clerical associate job on the Mother/Baby floor.

I sent the application and other stuff back to them after I went

in to get the application. I was originally going to go there

to fill it out but couldn't stay b/c of the traffic, and the

address for one of my references was here at home. So they are

in the process of the reference check and then the recruiter

needs to look at my application and then go from there.

So I just wanted to let you know that I'm still around but

wanted to give you the reasons why you aren't hearing from me

that much.

One final thought from me today is don't you give up on fighting

for those girls. You go all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court

with this if you have to b/c those girls need you like you need

them and from what you have told us about your relationship with

them there's a lot of love. Like Anne mentioned take this to

the press if you have to. I sure would, and of course take it

to your congressman and if you have to take it to the governor.

I had written to the governor's wife about my situation on the

direct access to gyn care, and I also took it to one of my State

Senators. I'm going to take this issue to the First Lady of the

U.S. Don't you give up Helen!!

((((((Hugs)))))) to you my friend,

Hi Helen,

Glad to hear from you!!! happy to hear you are keeping yourself busy, hehe, but don't work too hard, ok?!

Ling

Hi Everyone !!!

Everyone awful busy I see!!! Been quiet on here... Hope all are feeling good and out shopping or walking or what ever suits your fancy :o) M I L doing real good :o) Something we did not expect... We know who to thank for that :o) I just finished the girls tie back quilts... I have made a double and three twin quilts in the last eight weeks... My hands are paying the price for that... Been having it a little rough around here, so haven't been on everyday... I will be glad for Spring, so we can see the lovely colors that come with it... We seen a rainbow last Thursday, and there was NO rain around... The girls said it looked like it was right over our house and it did... But of course the closer we got the farther away the rainbow was... But that thrilled them and they made a wish on it, the same wish that they make on the stars ech time they see one... They want to come home... All take care and glad you are all busy with something... I hurt so bad, but I have to keep busy... So I will be starting my Spring cleaning a little early I think, I think... Maybe I will start another quilt, or make some barbie or dolly cloths... I don't know, I keep thnking and the spring cleaning sounds too early :o) Any excuse is better than none :o) That's a lot of work!!! Love and Hugs to All !!! Helen

Sorry you aren't feeling too well... Hope you don't have to pay out of your pocket, that can get very expensive... What did the Dr. have to say today???

I had the flu shot... If I get the flu it could cost me dearly... I have enough going on I don't need the flu also... I knew they were made from eggs, thats the first thing the Dr. asks... Last year I wasn't allowed to get one because of my heart... This year I was told it was alright...

Hope you get the job that you are trying for... The floor you are trying for sounds good to me :o)

You take care my Friend

Helen,

I sent a message talking about my visit to the dr but the price

that I'm getting for when I have to pay out of pocket is ok.

It's $50 but I don't have the intentions of seeing her as often

as you will see why based on the visit today.

I will pay out of pocket for as long as it takes for her to get

on the new ins plan b/c I will not go to a plan gyn b/c I don't

trust them.

Hi Everyone !!!

asking the ped or neurologist about? Also, we want to work at setting

up a foundation for her. We did alot of reading about it not

exceeding 2000.00 but our main question is HOW do you start one up?

Her grandmother has started looking into it and was told for her

parents to go to a bank and ask them. I list alot of stuff on EBAY so

A foundation can have it's uses as well. There's a recent story here

about a 17-year old boy who snapped his spinal cord in a football

accident. His parents opened an account at a bank with " Foundation "

in the title of the account name. They solicited money from people

in the community, and had bake sales, car washes and other

fundraisers and put it in this account. They claim the purpose is to

buy a wheelchair that costs a Million dollars, and people who don't

know any better believe that's true. The donors do not get a tax

deduction, but they don't realize that because it looks like they're

giving to a charity when they really aren't. The parents are free to

spend the money as they choose. Especially since the wheelchair is

paid for by insurance & /or Medicaid. It's all perfectly legal. The

money is received tax-free because it's considered a gift for tax

purposes. There's no paperwork to file anywhere as long as you don't

try to claim tax-exempt status. It's a bit unethical, but if you're

good as fundraisers, it's a neat way to get a lot of free money.

See story attached below.
