Hi Agasurfer,So they did it. I wonder if they removed it from Canadian Tire stores, where it at least was sold for water purification under a different name, forgot what, in camping supplies department. I'll check it out next time I visit there. Thanks, Slavek. From: asgardsurfer@...Date: Fri, 14 May 2010 01:38:49 +0000Subject: MMS banned in Canada!

Unfortunately, they sold the product and made health claims. Doesn't sound like MMS is totally banned, just the one supplier is. Should still be able to buy it as a water purification product but that is all the seller can say it is.

there is nothing wrong with this product as far as i'm concerned other than it tastes like poop.

this merely sounds like fear tactics to me not to use it for various reasons.

I've used MMS for about two years now. It seems like a good product. I have had

concerns about over activation of my immune system. I found a post on an MMS .

It says that anti-oxidants should be used before beginning with MMS and during

its use. Cl O2 lasts 12 hours in one's system, so the doses should be spaced, I

suppose.

It would be hard to prohibit either Na Cl O2 or Cl O2 since they're used so

widely. It looks like dealers making claims are being hit. I have seen posts

saying that MMS had been outlawed in Australia and Europe as well. No

verification though.

Dr. Saul Pressman of Canada often reminds us that the chlorine molecule dropped

off in the cells by MMS is a toxic free radical and also a known carcinogen, and

there are other products that are not carcinogens that increase oxygen in the

cells :)

From what I recall from Jim Humble's book, the Cl combines with sodium

to form salt. Sounds plausible to me Duncan. On the otherhand, I have

always been on the fence about oxidizing chemicals in general. I would

not elect to take MMS or Hydrogen Peroxide to maintain wellness. but I

have found that MMS is really exceptional for teeth whitening and mouth

sores as others have reported.

I say let the slaves take care of their own health. However, some " slaves " will

sue the govt if the govt did not ban something the law says they should have

banned, and they can show any damages real or imagined...the slaves are no

bargain either.

I think the issue is Ahmad, that people need to be free to make their own

decisions. If I speak to the wrong group or person regarding " blood

electrification " I can get horrified looks as responses. If we don't understand

something doesn't give us the right to ban it for someone else.

Warm regards, Vicki :)

Note that we have an entire, and fairly large, group dedicated to

MMS. At this point many people have reported some rather astounding

results from it and I has seen a few myself.. I take it when all else

fails internally and whenever I think of it, I brush my teeth with it.

It is a great tooth whitener and knocks the daylights out of any gum

problems.

doesnt that scare anyone?

Chlorine atoms released by MMS will indeed bind with sodium and also nearly

anything else; that's why it's used as a cleaner.

To be clear, sodium is only a minor component of cells; potassium for example is

30 times more plentiful. In fact many other components are also more plentiful

in cells than sodium and available for a reaction.

Further, even hard core MMS proponents do not indicate that reacting chlorine in

the intestine, blood and lymph, where most of the MMS-released chlorine will

really react, would be beneficial.

So, the subject of chlorine's well documented carcinogenicity aside, using MMS

or any chlorine bleach product internally is an uncontrolled experiment that is

sadly not portrayed as such by the more cavalier proponents who instead, in

troll-like fashion, coach desperate people to grasp at potentially dangerous

straws. If the details that proponents gloss over or minimize for an unwary

audience were truly known and well understood, using MMS would really be seen as

the leap of faith I think it is.

Health Canada has noted the leap of faith and correctly ruled on its mandate of

safety, and would only have served us better by mentioning the safer options.

Peroxide by the way is an official tool of the naturopaths; it's been in medical

use continuously since the mid/late 1800's.

Peroxide by the way is an official tool of the naturopaths; it's been in

medical use continuously since the mid/late 1800's.

In the ER at UW they occasionally use peroxide. They dilute the 3% solution

down 4 to 1. They prefer not to use it at all if there is something, anything,

else available. Peroxide kills any germs but it also inevitably removes some

surface cells that function protectively, leaving the person more prone to

infections afterwards.

MMS may have some evidence, but I have not seen it yet, no time to dig it up.

Anyone got a copy? I know he says or hints he has many cases, but I have not

seen anyone else saying so unless they are just quoting him.

If it has bad side effects but also life-saving benefits, its use would be for

dire circumstances, not for health seekers in relatively good shape, they would

get too little back for the risks.

I have never heard where MMS is good for heavy metal detox. You may be

confising this with MSM which si good for that. Also, powdered Zeolites

are an excellent heavy metal detox. Zeolites avt as tiney sponges.

Because of this, they often are effective against cancer. They got rid

of a nasty tumor on my golden retriever a few years ago and have no

downside except that they are akin to eating sand and leave a grit in

your mouth.

With MSM, start out slowly and work up to larger doses. With Zeolites,

take as much as you can stand immediately. Both are excellent for thi,

but MSM will cure most joint problems if taken in large enough quantity

and is better known for this.

>the first time i read about it... it said that it is used for heavy

metal detox.... does that include mercury?<

Them4, you're right, Health Canada should ban chlorinated water.

" According to the U.S. Council of Environmental Quality " Cancer risk

among people using chlorinated water is as much as 93% higher than among those

whose water does not contain chlorine. "

There is a lot of well-founded concern about chlorine. When chlorine is added to

our water it combines with other natural compounds to form Trihalomethanes

(chlorination byproducts) or THMs. These chlorine by-products trigger the

production of free radicals in the body causing cell damage and are highly

carcinogenic. Chlorine is also suspected to contribute to hardening of the

arteries the primary cause of heart disease.

"

We should all be using ozonated water, following the lead of many large cities

around the world. Lucky for me I live in a region that has almost no water

treatment because our municipal water is already the best in Canada. Unlucky for

you maybe with that 93% increase of cancer risk from chlorine exposure alone.

I'd do something about it if I were you.

all good,

Duncan
