I found this site and figured id say hello to the people in this forum. Im Jim

im 29. I came down with reiters syndrome about 4-5 years ago after having a bad

case of urethritits or burning in my urninary tract. I will never forget the

first flare up. Was laying in bed with my gf when I suddenly got a fever and

extreme full body inflammation like I had the flu or somthing. The inflammation

hit my feet, ankles, knees, and elbows very bad and the fever too!. I was having

mental problems at the time also. The next day it was very bad the middle of

summer very hot and there I was with a fever and joints on fire. I came very

close to hanging myself that day but I didnt. The full body inflammation fever

lasted a week or two maybe then it kind of got better I guess lol. It eventually

stopped in my elbows, and remained constant in my knees, ankles , and feet. Then

about 2 years later my knee inflammation went alway almost all the way. Now all

of my inflammation is in my prostate, and ankles and feet. I am able to walk and

all that but it is very painful and tiring to do constant activities like I used

to. I have taken everything trying to get rid of the inflammation but nothing

seems to take it away for more than 10 mintues or so. Has anyone found any

natural supplements that helps with this? I have takin fish , black currant

oils, curcummin all that but it only seems to help for a short period of time

before my flare ups return. Im also hla b27 positive. Im on full dissabilty at

29 with reiters syndrome, and mental problems.
