Guest guest
Thanks for the wonderful replies folks ! Due to the recent increase of people misusing ionic silver and in most cases of mis-use, making it incorrectly, I am inclined to be more cautious with information then in the past. According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, as a result of their review in the 1980s that the risk of argyria would be present if your blood measures 3.8 grams of silver. 1 ounce a day is equivalent to 0.00015 grams of silver and you eliminate 95% of that through your urine. But, silver does accumulate in our tissues over our lifetime. So I think that wise use of silver is important. For myself personally, I no longer take it as I would a supplement, but rather on an as-need basis. Also, if you are taking silver in any quantity over a long period of time, consider supplementing with selenium and vitamin E. As I understand it, there is also a silver accumulation test measurement that can be done through one's doctor. Cheers, Vicki Wonderful info - and I may have to use it for a while then on and off because of a pretty far-along candida problem - but since argyria is merely a discoloration and not documented as a real health threat I'll worry about argyria ALOT less than candida which was trying to do me in !!! The info on additional supplementation is priceless too, thanks ! bG wrote: as-need basis is how I use it. 1. keep spray bottle of it in kitchen, bath, bedroom. 2. spray raw foods 3. spray meats once before aging in fridge 4. carry small spray bottle during colds/flu season 5. swallow a bit if not feeling great after a meal(usually at restaurant) 6. spray on bandaid pad before applying who else has some need-based uses? bG OK, sprayers it is too, dark ones ? BONUS !!!: Personal experience is that 2 teaspoons in the morning lowers the blood sugar considerable for diabetics. I would like to see more evidence of this. This may be the BEST side-effect ever, Gene - thanks hugely for this info !!! And Vicki also wrote: For the basics of making ionic silver here are some easy directions: http://sharinghealth.com/beckprotocol/howcs.html SOTA Instruments did some lab testing and truly there is nothing I've come across to back up 20 ppm being any more effective than 3-5 ppm. The site I've given you does mention where you can get a ppm tester, but really, it's all in the color. If you follow the directions above, then you will end up with 3-5 ppm when the water is clear, if it is slightly yellow then it is higher ppm. The deeper the color yellow, the higher ppm it is. Again though - 3-5 ppm is very effective in the opinion of many. Good luck to you. Warm regards, Vicki Thanks again Vicki. My generator will be home-made once I digest all the info I am collecting...the jury is still out on the subject of voltage vs. time as I do have quite a choice of voltages between 12 and 30 VDC and someone suggested that even lower voltage makes higher quality CS due to smaller particle size, which sounds quite attractive to me.
