Hi Russ, I assumed that everyone would read the story and have a similar reaction. This man had pancreatic cancer and he was told that a lifestyle change and alternative treatments would be more helpful than chemotherapy. I posted the story because a complaint was sent to the Medical Device Board and we all know how that will come back to haunt us in the future. Guest guest
My question is " ? " how are these claims made by the the alternative therapist any different than the claims made by AMA physicians except for the fact that the AMA physician is licensed. Allopathic Doctors milk people with cancer dry of their very last dollar and they have no better promise of health and well being, and treatment is more painful and invasive. I am also at the point where I don't pity sick people anymore. I have tried to help a few with conditions CS and other alt medicines would have helped the person towards healing themselves and they chose to stay sick. Society has such a strong grip on these people it is criminal. Some people I think thrive on the pity and attention they get when they are sick. I also catch shit (mocked) for even suggesting herbal remedies to someone for a condition where I work, I don't bother anymore let people stay sick and die that don't want to be helped, I wish they just wouldn't ask what I would do anymore. Everyone thinks why would our government or society lie to us about health. " Money " My boss claims to be anti government but yet he doesn't believe that the gov. and pharma companies are in partnership selling us drugs that do little good and more harm and that doctors are smarter than us when it comes to our health. A doctor can't tell me what is going on in my body and what is worse most of them keep guessing what is wrong with someone until 15 visits and $5,000 later they finally get it right and prescribe the right medicine for the ailment, but now the person is having adverse reactions to one or many of the other 14 previous prescriptions, and they have no idea how to proceed because they don't know which one(s) is(are) at fault. Since I have taken back my health I have been dead on any time I or someone in my family is sick. Which is really rare. And usually have less than 24hr turnaround. Sorry just venting...erks me when I see the ignorance of the media. > In a message dated 3/9/2004 9:54:01 AM Eastern Standard Time, > russ@s... writes: > > > Please be aware that stories like this are written expertly to evoke > > a strong emotional response is the reader. > > > Hi Russ, > > I assumed that everyone would read the story and have a similar reaction. > This man had pancreatic cancer and he was told that a lifestyle change and > alternative treatments would be more helpful than chemotherapy. Guest guest
I have had to think over the same caring reaction to sick people. In reality I guess being sick does not change who they are. If they cared about health before, they do after, and if not, not. I remember Dr. Lorraine Day saying that, they don't change at all because of getting ill. She said in 5 minutes of conversation she can tell if they will get well or not. bG > My question is " ?
