Guest guest
Hi everyone. I would like to thank every one for there most interesting responses and would like to answer some of those questions for the whole forum. For those who have no access to electronic facilities, I would suggest to acquire the most powerful Camera flashlight from the Camera store. If possible to reduce the distance between flash bulb and skin. Take care the flash bulb can get very hot and there are also 300 V (4000 V trigger)connected to the bulb. Bob Beck used a standard flash light and modified it, to power a coil. I returned to the flash light without the coil but increased the power output, with a " U " Xenon flashlight to maximum. For the technical people, I used a " U " Xenon Flash Tube max. 400 V 5 watts input, 6 watts power dissipation, 60 joules (watt-seconds),you would need different capacitors to handle 400 V, about 50 uf capacity or more, to much keeps the tube on and burns out the Xenon tube. It is also interesting to know that the flash easily penetrates the about 1 " thickness of the hand and the light might even go 2 ' or more into the flesh. Speculations: What would happened if one had 2 large panel with lots of xenon tubes, spaced so a person could step between the panels and fire all the tube to the same time? This idea is not new, in one of those Star trek TV Shows they cured Mr.Spark in a high intensity light chamber of some ailment. If it works as a hand held unit on a small area, why not for the at whole body ? One would have to watch out for and control Herksheimers. With all these different healing methods, one wonders, way are still so many people sick. Cheers Klaus More general info on flash light design and circuits. http://www.misty.com/people/don/donflash.html
