Guest guest
Hi! Thank you all for sharing so much information; it looks really helpful. I was just diagnosed with ReA on Tuesday-- the diagnosis explains a lot of inflammation- related health issues I've had for the past 9 years-- --most recently, five nearly-spontaneous stress fractures/stress injuries in my feet this past year! I'm waddling around in a pair of air-cast boots, trying to heal up so I can someday walk again. I'm about to start methotrexate (5 pills (12.5 mg)/week, , and I wanted to ask for advice about taking it. Have those of you who take it found it goes down more comfortably with food, or an hour after eating? Anything else for first-timers to be aware of? My doctor's putting me on folic acid at the same time: if anyone else is on this combination, do you find it works better to take it at the same time as the MTX, at a different time, or that it doesn't matter? Thanks so much! EA
