Guest guest
I just experienced, the I don't know.? I just had a rheumy appt today and he said he has never had a patient with so many issues, so he may seem a bit frustrated at times, since he doesn't have all the answers.? Hmmmm, he should be inside here.? Anyway, thanks to those that helped with my sleeping med question.? They started me back up on amitriptyline for sleeping and increased the dose and then allowed some additional for use during the day to try to prevent the migranes I've been having every day.? I just had 2 infusions of remicade and he said that he doesn't think its the remicade causing the headaches, its probably because they stopped my rheumatrex in anticipation of adding the remicade and its neck pain causing the headaches.? Sounds plausable, I guess.? He said the remicade usually will show full effects around the third infusion.? I'm sure praying for that, both for the crohnes and the RS,AS, etc.? Those of you on remicade, what's your experience of the timetable when you noticed the full effect?? Thanks and happy new year to all of you!? Kathy from WI Re: Irritated blood vessels is the eye (uveitis) Tim , just a thought , you could ask what they could learn from the test. Its been my experience that when ever they have done something to me they act like they will find out everything they need to know. Then after the test they give you the old blank stare. If nothing else you will find out what it's not. I always ask " what can cause that? " When they say " we don't know " , I know I need a new doctor. Dan in WI Irritated blood vessels is the eye (uveitis) My mother's eye has been acting up so she saw the Dr yesterday. Its been red & hurts a lot, even with the steroids. He said it looks like the blood vessels in the back of the eye are irritated. He does not think (but could be) its related to her uveitis & said there is a procedure to get a sample of the fluid out of the eye to check the cells to hopefully see what's going on. We would have to go out of town to see a specialist for all of this. Anyone know what blood vessel problems in the back of the eye could be, or had a sample taken from the back of the eye? My mom is scarred to have this test done. Its her only good eye & doesn't know what to do. Any suggestions or thoughts? Thanks Tim
