Guest guest
Hi Barbara just read an old message of yours from Dec, U mentioned u cant work since being diagnosed with REA, i also havnt been able to go back to work since officially being diagnosed in 2002, origionally my Rhumatologist said Reiters should 'Burn itself out', well that was rubbish, I have this disease chronically, in the begining the Fatigue was dreadful, but then the pain arrived and I have had to have corrective surgery ever since, It always seems to be One thing after another! Last year had Bursar removed from my right Hip, then back in to scrape arthritis away and repair a soft tissue tear, Now im going back in to have spinal probe(already had spine op in 2002) surgeon believes I need another spine op.... Dont want to upset anyone if they read my message, but I have had a terrible time in the last 6 years, however since being on the Enbrell and methtrexate, the falre ups are less, althoughI keep on needing corrective surgery on various Joints....One thing I have learnt about this condition tho, is to FIGHT it, never let it beat you, I wont even tho I know I wont be going back to work for a few years yet take care Jill UK
