Guest guest Posted February 8, 2010 Report Share Posted February 8, 2010 Hi  Sorry to hear that. i guess it is taking the lesser of 2 evils, so to speak. i.e does the risk of taking a drug add up to more or less than what it may or may not 'cure'. We're all different and got to make up our own minds. I should also say that  i was also surprised that i hadnt heard of most of the other drugs you mentioned.  By the consultants own admission, i had a particular bad bout of RA and was holed up in hospital for most of 3 months, and the only 2 drugs mentioned were sulfasalazine and methotrexate...as well as having a number of aspirations/steroid injections, and that was in one of the best hospitals in the UK. Safe to say that Reiter's /RA can be a real pain.  Regards  Olly  From: C.
