Guest guest
According to my doctor(Cheney) the B-12 is for neuroprotection and detoxing the brain, so yes! Maybe someone can elaborate on this, my short/long term memory can't access the whole rationale without me relistening to my taped consultation with cheney. Guest guest
Hi Yes. The level of B12 in the blood is meaningless. Many of us even had abnormally high levels of B12 in the blood before supplementing (maybe the body is trying to help us out?) The problem is the B12 doesn't get to the brain. So you need a LOT of it to get a little bit into the brain. Thanks, Doris ----- Original Message ----- From: " Olson " <caloson@...> > When the test shows that you are fine in the B 12, do > you still need the shot? please answer me, thankyou > Olson

He / she will understand your hesitance at coming in for an appointment, which will also give the doctor a better understanding of your current need to get pain relief. Quite similarly, I have been very reluctant to try new meds. That said, I recently started Humira (I am covered through their patient assistance program -- definitely worth applying for) and felt almost immediate relief. 12 hours after my first shot I woke up with practically no pain in my ankles or knees for the first time in seven months! While every patient is different and needs to find the right mix of solutions for them, it is definitely worth pursuing. If possible, I also highly recommend trying Humira. It has really given me my life back. I hope to be able to stop taking it and keep the arthritis in remission. -
