Olive oil cause gallstones?

I just read an article in a alternative medicine book which stated it

was unwise to use olive oil in the treatment of gallstone disease and

it cited 3 studies which said that the oleic acid in olive oil has

been showed to cause gallstones in laboratory animals.

Whoa!!! I thought olive oil was supposed to be good for the GB

Has anyone else ever heard of this?
