Guest guest Posted May 16, 2001 Report Share Posted May 16, 2001 HI everyone, Just letting you know I made it through the surgery and am home...feeling a lil sore and very tired but much better. My surgeon went in on the top of the old incision...and cut about 3 inches down.....and I have stitches ...no staples...finally he listened to me...I took a shower this morning...and everything looks great....and I have a really strong suckie drain (DAVOL closed wound suction evacuator--3 spring model) looks like a round clutch bag...it works best he said...he wanted me to not have any fluid build up this time. I go back to him on Mon unless something unexpected happens....I have everything crossed again. You are definitely making progress. Get your much needed rest & post when you can.
