Guest guest
Hi Jane, I talked to you before about my son having UC,AS and now they find he has Celiac Sprue a malabsorbtion Hi, ..............I do remember talking to you. Your son will be in my prayers. What is his name? You have to remember to take care of you first or there won't be anything left so you can help him. My Greg is doing very well. He stayed on steroids quite a while this spring; it caused him to gain quite a bit of weight. It is very sad when we realize that our children have an incurable illness and it's part of a group of illness that even the doctors don't know well. God is good; all the time, God is good! That's Methodist statement but one you may have to hold on to. I hope you get your son in the hospital and something is found that will help him. They are too young for this; you know, you and I had these problems as children and if your parents were like mine, you got little or no treatment. At least we have some insight and can possibly make their road easier. Jane
Guest guest
Jane, Thank you for your prayers and understanding. is my son's name.I will continue prayers for you and your son too. Yes, my father didn't believe in Drs, so there was no treatment for anything. My brother had Scarlet Fever, and he wouldn't even let my mom take him then. So,I have tried to be sure my children have had medical help, and they have up until this. has been on Prednisone for almost a year, but with the malabsorbtion,he has lost so much weight, he is just skin over bone.I will sure be happy when that phone call comes to admitt him to the hospital. He is getting pretty depressed too,so that is a worry for me also.I know God is good, sometimes He is the only one that keeps me going. Now that I hardly see my kids or grandkids, the Lord and I have been able to build a stonger relationship.I know He is in charge of everything, and everything works out in His timing. I have a feeling this disease in my son has a purpose. I know it sure has humbled me to live with it for years. But He is a kind God, and suffers right along with us.Good to hear from you,you take care too.
