I would hate to see those who have lost the gb's leave the group.

Yor information and gb struggles are very important to those of us

who are trying to keep our gb's!

There may come a time when I feel it is necessary to have my gb

removed... and it would be quite helpful to have support from those

of you that are further along this road.

I believe that the New York doctor is correct in stating that MOST gb

attacks are the reslts of gb sludge and calcium chrystals and

NOT " stones. " This is what makes the flush so effective as it

elliminates much of the sludge.

Bile salts and lecithin are bile thinners that can be used to keep

the cholestorol from clumping. Avoiding dairy will keep many of the

chystals from forming. I am hoping that drugs are not necessary and

that this approach will keep my bile thinned!

I noticed that there have been some contests lately as to the true validity

of the gall bladder flush.

I was just rereading Dr. 's " One Answer to Cancer " this morning and

came across the following line:

This can be effectively accomplished by doing the Liver-Gall Bladder Flush

(a form of which at one time was widely used at the world famous Lahey

Clinic in Boston, MA)...

Lahey Clinic?

One pf the many bastions of the AMA.

Wish I could get my hands on their early research...

Thank you for bringing this up michael...I think it

should be one of the priorities, perhaps a sort of

collective priority of this support group to try to

bridge the gap here on the validity of the flush. If

someone who has actually done surgery on gallbladders,

and seen first hand many a gallstone, could be

presented with a few samples from the flush maybe they

could verify it once and for all for this group and

others. But it seems the flusher would have to know

the surgeon personally to get an honest answer.

Hi Troy:

My Father-in-law was a pathologist for many years and has cut open

over 5000 gallbladders. In first viewing my " greenie stones " his

first response was that they were indeed " classic gallbladder

stones. "

Upon cutting into one of them he was surprised to find that the

inside was " clearish gel " and not brown. He said that gb stones are

typically brown inside. He then said that these stones may be coming

from the liver ducts as bile sludge. The other option is that they

are formed by the olive oil and bile.

He has my stones in his refridgerator, but has not had the time to

fully evaluate them... Who knows when he gets around to doing it.

As a typical doctor he is afraid of finding out that they are indeed

a product of the liver as " this will be all over the internet and

many will not go out and get their gb's taken out! "
