Guest guest
I have been fighting ReA off and on since my late 20s (I am now 48). The Rhuematologists I have seen all prescribe the same progression of drugs starting with the typical assortment of NSAID's, SulfaSalizine, and then the host steroid based drugs. I am wondering why so few doctors consider trying a combination of antibiotics (minocycline, metronidazole, etc) which has been suggested and used with good success (based on a number of reports I have read). Does anyone in this group have any experience with this type of treatment; I am trying to talk my doctor into trying somethin in this directin before going to the steroid based medications.
