Guest guest
Fly, Yes the shots " cured " my plantar fascia...I got them every 6 months or so for 2 yrs before I can say I didnt have to have any more....and I wear mostly black or white athletic shoes all the time...I bought me a really good pair of sandals about a yr ago and occasionally wear them too...but nothing with any real heel to it. I have friends who had this condition and they got shots 2-3 times and were better too ...and the migraines....I get them only ever so often now...my RD has me take a Fioracet and try to lie down and be quiet ...usually works. The Imitrex injections were marvelous ...15-20 min after POOF...no more headache.....but since I have been on all the meds I take and been pretty balanced out ....I dont get migraines much now...maybe once every couple months....Judy in AZ
Guest guest
, Have you seen a doctor for your migraines? I use Fioricet when I get a migraine. When I take it, I have to stay in in dimly lit quiet room and rest for at least 20 minutes. Then it works. If I am at work and get one, there is not too much I can do till my planning time, then I hide. I have tried Tylenol-migraine and Excedrin- migraine. Neither worked for me. I hope you find something soon. Migraines are the pits! Fly __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Thank you to everyone for the nice welcome back. I appreciate it. Judy, Did the injection help the plantar faciatis? Did he say why it triggered a headache? I had injections done for the same thing several years ago. THey helped for a couple of weeks, but didn't do anything to my head! How often do you get the migraines? I hope the new meds are helping calm them some. Guest guest
Speaking of Migraines. Yesterday i took Jake to the new Neuro dr and he dx jake with CLASSIC MIGRAINES and they cause the seizure episodes. He also has allergies. The dr has put him on Topamax to control the seizures and Migraines but also gave him Imitrex for when he does get a real bad migraine. I feel really bad cause i know i passed it on to him. The dr also thinks that and are having migraines to but not to the point Jake is. Jake gets them so bad that he goes into a seizure. I bet the school is really gonna hate me after they get the letter from this dr. They keep wanting to tell me that Jake is a behavior problem child and as i have been saying for months something is medically wrong. They hate when iam right and prove them wrong. Iam sure i will hear crap about it but that only means they truely don't know how crippling a migraine can be and if he is having petty mal seizures from the migraine, no wonder he is having trouble in school and is getting confused then upset with them for yelling at him. He really doesn't know what they are talking about. I dare them to mess with me about this. These drs letters will be going to the lawyers office too cause now we have prove that something must have happend on that field trip and the chaperone was neglectful of jake. ok enough of me for now. take care everyone, shelly
Guest guest
, Keep kicking! Don't let that school win. You are the one who knows what your children need. You and your kiddoes are in my prayers. Thankfully school is about to take a breather.

Guest guest
Susie, Back in March jake's class along with all the other 3rd grade classes went to New Orleans. They left at 6:45am on the big tour buses. They went to the zoo and had lunch in the park near by. After lunch they went to the aquiraum. Jake had a real bad headache and felt sick to his stomach and when he got off the bus he couldn't find the parent he was assigned to. She says that he walked away from her while she was in the ladies room. It is suspected that jake had a petty mal seizure and nobody noticed. Anyway, jake spent the next 8 hours being told how bad he was and that he wouldn't be able to go anymore field trips and could get suspended from school. On top of that told him he was going to be in trouble with me. I have been telling them for 2 yrs that he has seizures but the old neuro dr wasn't up to par and i got a new dr. The new dr dx him with classic migraines and the migraines cause seizures. The school has been saying that i have no proof of an illness like that involves seizures because they haven't seen him flopping around on the floor etc. Now i stuck the drs. dx up their butts yesterday and will do it again at his IEP meeting. oops got to go take the kids to the bus stop. didn't realize how late it was. shelly
Guest guest
Yes we are on the count down for the end of the school year. as of today they have 6 1/2 days left of school. The 18th they get out at 11am. I also get to spend days at the school next week doing IEP's for and Jake. I don't understand why they want to do one for jesse since he will be going to the middle school. I get they feeling they are going to drop a bomb on me about not letting jesse go on to 6th grade and that won't go over with me at all. shelly
Guest guest
Yes Will take a look. Though the problem remains more to do with economics and world power than it does with actually solving particular problems. Without getting into solving this problem or that (I rather suspect that some bright spark can solve all the problems given the right environment), needless to say that emergence (I.e. the birth of new species) only occurs when the conditions are right. I.e. nurturing. As such I expect little to make it through the nurturing stage while cannibalism and baby soup is considered the dish of the day. > > Message: 8 > Date: Mon, 13 Oct 2003 10:58:46 -0000 > From: " toteva123 " <toteva123@...> > Subject: Re: Die off > > Steve, > > I would recommend you check ' web site. We no longer have the doors padded and the jumping isn't a concern at this point. The belt stuff isn't as frequent at this point. I'm one of those moms who talks to EVERYONE that's involved with my children so the psychiatrist is fully aware. I'm pretty sure that's part of the reason we were sent for the Asperger's eval. I keep getting told that it's not something they do around here much. The school is also aware of most of it. I haven't talked to them about the belt stuff but it seems to be something he only does at home when I'm home. It's so hard to figure out what's manipulation stuff versus things they can't help... which is why I was asking if these things are par for the course. I've only been on here a day or two and I'm sitting here saying "those parents are having the same things happen? wow...." Yes, I know pretty silly reaction but some of this stuff you just don't think is something other people are going through. Michele B.
