Guest guest
Hi Connie Good to hear from you too. Yes I am concerned about my heart with this med. I have Parasomal Atrial Tach, or rapid heart beat. I will call my heart doc on Tuesday and she see what she says. When I looked up the Adderall it said it comes in tablets and my rx is for 30mg. So if I take it I will probably cut the tab in fourths and work up to the dose. Never like to start with a high dose of anything. My fatigue is so bad that I get up at 9 in the morning and have breakfast and go back to bed. I fight sleep all day long and then kind of wake up about 8 in the evening, and then can be up til 2 or 3 in the am. Makes for a crazy schedule. I make all my appointments in the afternoon so I can have all day to get ready. Talk about quality of life. I miss out out on everything. Sorry to hear about your hubby. Hope he can do better. These bodies do wear out. Thank God for the joy of heaven, that it is God's free gift to us who accept it. I will pray for you too as it is hard to care for someone when you are both sick. Would you believe I am still on Plaquenil? It is almost nine years ago since you told me about it. My eyes have been stable, no iritis flares. PTL. Just hope my body can still tolerate it for a while longer. God Bless Love and Hugs Priscilla
Guest guest
Hi Priscilla You wrote: " My fatigue is so bad that I get up at 9 in the morning and have breakfast and go back to bed. Tired all day, fall asleep if anywhere near a pillow and the BAM!!! wide awake around 8 - 9 PM through till daylight comes. I get flares of Iritis as well, more often than not in the Left eye so I am constantly blinking in that eye and as the day wears on, the right one becomes involved. Of course, like many of us, I also have the electrical parts of the heart messing up and I noticed a short spell of Atrial Fib last evening. I thought about going into the hospital emergency room but the fibrillation stopped and went back into normal rythm. I do know that if it does act up more often they will have to put in one of those pacemaker/defibrilator machines in my chest. I would definately check with an Internist before taking the Aderall I vowed 11 years ago that I would participate in parades no more. Twelve years of parades just about every weekend in the summer was put behind me due to a silent heart attack. But this year I broke my vow and helped the local United Church of Canada congregation put an entry into a parade held today. We won First Place and Judges Choice awards, the ladies were suprised as we only decorated the truck early this morning. When doing the mascots and the Medicine Hat College parade float for 10 years I have accumulated a lot of red and blue ribbons and cups for my entries. Two more will reside in Peace United. Of course they have me working on next years entry into several parades in South East Alberta so I am going to design something that fits around an 18 passenger van then folds up and goes inside for transportation. The biggest gamble for me is to be a tad more active and not set my heart rythms off again. But I ramble off topic. Fr. Dave
