Guest guest
Hi all. I have learned a lot from your postings and it seems a lot of folks have dry eyes. I have the opposite problem, it seems I am looking at the world from under water all the time. My eyes run and run. They dont itch, which they do when my allergies are riled up. I am wondering if it is a symptom I was unable to read about anywhere, or a medicine side effect-but I have looked these up and haven't found any reported side effcts of watery eyes. has anyone had this problem? I am 34 and have psoriatic arthritis and take norvasc, diazide (blood pressure), voltaren, methotrexate (10 a week), folic acid, and remicade. I finally made an appt to see an eye doc next week, but was curious if this is something anyone else has experienced so i have some ammo when he tells me it is allergies-and I know it isn't. thanks so much, Tammie

My right eye waters so bad that under my eye is so sensitive that it bruises. Restasis seems to help me some with all the watering, but not much. I had both my lower tear ducts plugged (permanently) and it has helped with both dryness & wetness. Good luck, Dawn
Guest guest
Hi Tammie I too have dry, itchy eyes, but as well have them flowing like rivers at other times. I also have Psoriatic Arthritis which is also acting up at the moment on both hands and feet. Sure creates some new adventures in walking, if I can get my shoes on. I am going to get a pair of those new foam rubber type summer shoes methinks. I think they are ugly and way too colorful but look comfortable. Can't think of the name of them at the moment. They kind of remind me of Dutch Wooden Shoes that some friends had many years ago. Fr. Dave .

I have a pair of those and they are very comfortable when my feet sausage up on me. I work at a school, and am supposed to wear " professional footwear " whew. That is impossible some days, but they let me slide by with the foam rubber shoes you are talking about. I go for the white and black-they match more outfits than the lime green ones-haha Wish me luck at the eye doc tomorrow
