Guest guest
Thanks, Bill. I was in the ER for 3 hours tonight. They'd lost my X-rays from last night and wanted me to take new ones. I refused, and anyway the pulmonary specialist who was supposed to draw the fluid from my lungs (I never said I disagreed there was fluid there, did I?) was not available unless I stayed overnight (and probably most of the day tomorrow.) They're concerned because they have to find out the cause of the fluid, which is just a symptom of a problem. The NP told me that " everything happens for a reason " and that the sausages and attack that got me in for the tests so that they'd find this fluid. So I guess I'm not a " gallbladder " person so I need to leave the group. I have enjoyed it. And I've started to adapt to a healthier way of eating. I'll stay on my no fat no animal product regime at least until the pain is gone. No use complicating matters with heavy, fatty foods. So thanks to you all. Wish me luck. I could have anything. Will know more in a week or two when I can get in to the pulmonary clinic. swerz@... wrote: > > - > > Fluid in the lungs is a pretty serious situation.
