Guest guest
Greetings fello O's, I have a concern I thought someone here might know something about. Since my early 30's, I have slowly been getting gray hair (call the waah-mbulance!), but since starting this diet/lifestyle 2 years ago, the graying has accelerated dramatically (perhaps a coincidence?). I am currently 45, an O-nonsecretor, and about half of my hair is gray! This is too soon!...my mind still thinks we're 35. My first thought is that the graying indicates that I am aging more rapidly; is this necessarily so? I must admit that I am not 100% avoid free when it comes to my eating habits (maybe 75%), though I am moving in that direction...slowly (its that coffee, chocolate and dairy again!). I also do not get adequate rest (average is about 6-6.5 hrs./night) and am in need of more regular intense exercise. Otherwise, I am in very good shape though often tired these days (duh). Anyway, does anyone have any thoughts on this? Is gray hair synonymous with aging and is it possible for the hair to change back from gray to the natural color as a result of lifestyle/dietary changes? My family (most are deceased) did not have gray hair at an early age as far as I know, and most lived into their 80's or 90's. My dad would be over 100 if he were still here and I have a grandmother still living (she is younger...go figure). I was killed briefly when I was a teenager...perhaps that has something to do with this hair thing or perhaps I'm just becoming a wise guy? Seriously, I would like to here what you think. Thanks so much, (the O-nonnie)
