Guest guest
Hello, Since this group is mainly dedicated to scientifically reproducible experimental research, I won't belabor the spiritual discussion except to make 3 points to the responses to my previous post on the subject: 1. It's OK to question the means to a goal, especially since I have some solid experience in the arena that you are describing in immunics (not just " dabbling " )--five years in Transcendental Meditation and five years in psychic healing, aura reading, & getting rid of past traumas or negative pictures (Berkeley Psychic Inst.). The problem is the pictures never end (similar to the immunics continual practice of removing negative stuff from the 12 bodies, and this is called " simple " while there are continual reaffirmations & thousands of lessons to be learned). The pictures & negative stuff never ends and the peace never comes. I would like to recommend something in place of the so-called KISS--keep it simple. Vail Carruth, who wrote The Kiss of God, was heavily involved in Transcendental Meditation and is able to give some perspective. 2. Seeking spiritual truth is certainly commendable, but it's also OK to have a reasonable & objective approach to spiritual endeavors. This is exemplified in Shreve's book, In Search of the True Light. He is a former Hatha Yoga instructor (immunics is described in the tutorial as a form of yoga).Shreve's website is: www.thetruelight.net 3. Relationship is all-important--who are you relating to? If you are trying to find your inner god, that may turn out to be an empty search in contrast to coming before the revealed God in the person of Jesus and asking for His Presence to bring light to the situation. Most of us want to believe we are the captain of our own ship, but that is open to question. We certainly have great potential as humans, but focusing on what God has in mind for us has been for me the means to the greatest overall good in the end---inner peace & joy in the midst of difficult circumstances which always crop up in life. My purpose here is simply to share the other side of what is being portrayed in immunics as a warm, positive or neutral spiritual endeavor. That's not the way it ends up from my own experience and others I have observed closely. It may work for quite awhile, but " The Cure " is not a cure in my opinion. Immunics seems to be mainly a series of positive affirmations with some other New Age pieces thrown in. Transcendental Meditation is advertised as a scientific method of relaxation; however, in the initiation process, people bow down to and pray to a Hindu shrine, and later people were getting into levitation and other practices. I have discovered that opening up to these kinds of things is a slippery slope that ends up in spiritual emptiness and lack of peace. As I said, I will not continue the spiritual discussion and instead stay within the structure of what I think the Experimental group represents. I am as desperate as other people on the list to get well, but I don't think I'm being closed-minded in my objections to immunics. Guest guest
Hi : My uncle who was a devout born again Christian...became one after he met my Aunt Virginia, after many years of gambling, drinking, etc. Told me once that he was tempted and hounded by demons in the night at times. The fact that you encountered demons on your TM path, does not make the path wrong or dangerous, necessarily. You'd have to say the same about Christianity if that were true. I like the 12-step notion....take what you like and leave the rest. Guest guest
, immunics seems to me a way of muscle testing to access innate wisdom--maybe one can do it, maybe not...the site itself is one person's, how shall I put it, religious overlay upon a testing method that is probably reasonable and good...He has just called it immunics, which is a good name, but he didn't invent anything. Here's a homeopathic method that might work, I reproduce this from another list: Hi my name is is, and I am the owner of WA-Lyme, a Lyme Disease Support group for the residents of the State of Washington. I thought I would take a moment to share my progress. I started Dr. Lynne 's Homeopathic Treatment Protocols for Late Stage Lyme Disease in February 2004. I was bedridden, horrid neuro/cognitive, massive pain, etc. etc. etc. I have had Lyme Disease w/co-infections for 10 years, and have needed a caregiver 5 hours a day. I was no longer able to drive my car, much less stand up long enough to take a shower. And most of all my body could no longer tolerate any more IV Antibotic Therapy. It is now September, and I feel great. My brain works, I'm pain free, and I have energy. I still have a ways to go on rebuilding my body from all the years of being bedridden, but that is to be expected. I have personally talked with 3 other past patients of Dr. who all had late stage lyme (10, 15 and 20 years, respectively). They are all symptom free, back to work, and living a normal life. I don't know if this will work for everyone. I just can tell you that it appears to be working for me. I don't often visit this site, and I am not promoting Dr. , other than to share my progress and good fortune. As I know someone is bound to ask, how to I contact Dr. ... I thought I would just give you her website, and quickly address some of the more common questions I have been asked. Her Website is: www.alternativepharmacy.com Yes, there is mild herxing, and yes, she individualizes each persons treatment based on their symptomology. She is extremely knowlegable, compassionate, and efficient. She does phone consults, and has had success with Late Stage Lyme. God, who would have ever thought something as simple as homeopathics would have been my way out of this miserable disease! I also wanted to say, I have a mini-support phone group of 6 people who are at varing stages in ther treatment. We call each other regularly for additional emotional support and friendship. If anyone is currently on Dr. 's therapy, and would like to be part of our mini-phone support group, please feel free to call me. It's always nice to have others to talk to when you are on a new protocol. My phone number is (253) 941-5355 Also because I seldom visit this site, you can email me directly/privately at walyme @ aol . com Sincerely, is
Guest guest
I'm learning more about CFS and the " real world " by reading all your posts... I cancelled my health insurance years ago...when I first " tested " and know that there was not much about insurance which would support me in being immune. When I read about the tests and drugs and procedures you have all been exposed to on your path with CFS, I feel a fire in my gut. You may have hit the nail on the head when you said that being a consistent user of immunics takes discipline. It takes discipline to trust your connection with God over and over. To trust that you can know anything. Really it's easy and it only takes discipline to remember to do immunics at all. It's an attitude. a " can do " attitude. And it's being sick enough of your disease to actually dump it. --- jill1313 <jenbooks13@...> wrote: --------------------------------- , immunics seems to me a way of muscle testing to access innate wisdom--maybe one can do it, maybe not...the site itself is one person's, how shall I put it, religious overlay upon a testing method that is probably reasonable and good...He has just called it immunics, which is a good name, but he didn't invent anything. Guest guest
Well now I wouldn't do the same, LOL. I figure I live in a physical world and I will keep my health insurance. Not that I use it all that much. I mention the discipline because I think people have different personalities. I don't mean it judgmentallyh, as in, people who don't do immunics don't want to get well. I have done a little bit of immunics each day, whether it is affecting me or not, I can't tell. Some people who know, for instance, that they'd do better seeing a practitioner, might use someone like Blier, or the homeopathic method I mentioned, both of which are basically energetic methods, and do better. They still want to get well, and apparently a few have gotten well this way. Someone else who is independent minded might do better with immunics. Someone who really enjoys joining groups and being part of a group might want to become part of the immunics group and do it that way. ITs all individual. > > > --------------------------------- > , immunics seems to me a way of muscle testing > to access > innate wisdom--maybe one can do it, maybe not...the > site itself is > one person's, how shall I put it, religious overlay > upon a testing > method that is probably reasonable and good...He has > just called it > immunics, which is a good name, but he didn't invent > anything. > > > Here's a homeopathic method that might work, I > reproduce this from > another list: > > Hi my name is is, and I am the owner of WA-Lyme, a > Lyme Disease > Support group for the residents of the State of > Washington. > > I thought I would take a moment to share my progress. > > I started Dr. Lynne 's Homeopathic Treatment > Protocols for Late > Stage Lyme Disease in February 2004. > > I was bedridden, horrid neuro/cognitive, massive pain, > etc. etc. etc. > > I have had Lyme Disease w/co-infections for 10 years, > and have needed > a caregiver 5 hours a day. > > I was no longer able to drive my car, much less stand > up long enough > to take a shower. > > And most of all my body could no longer tolerate any > more IV > Antibotic Therapy. > > It is now September, and I feel great. Guest guest
I'm happy your doing a little bit each day. I am too. It's amazing what happens when I focus on it. A little bit can make a big change. --- jill1313 <jenbooks13@...> wrote: --------------------------------- Well now I wouldn't do the same, LOL. Guest guest
The moderators noted that it was not really germane to this discussion group and somewhat reigned in the discussion. You can go to and search " immunics " and find many groups if you want to join one, there is a main one without about 1000 members. I've been doing it about five minutes a day and notice no change. For instance, I can " test " that lyme or candida is removed from my " bodies " but I can tell you, physically from my symptoms, they're unchanged. I am doing some work with gary blier (had one session, will have another next week) that is in the same bailywick. If I notice any change from that over time I " ll post here. > > Sorry to be behind in reading this great list, but I was wondering > where the discussion of Immunics went.
