Guest guest Posted February 21, 2004 Report Share Posted February 21, 2004 Yes, that's right: aggressive carbo-loading for secretors, or, better yet: post-exorcized carbo-load for secretors. Now, I know some people out there think a big deal about animal meats and organs and fats, but a good carbo-load immediately post-workout I feel *can* assist in achieving and keeping an anabolic state. Today I had a fairly large (one liter) four servings (250g serving size, 35g carb 36g sugar 140 calories total soluble solids 12%-- I kid you not this is on the glass bottle). That's serving size times 4, friends. Yep. I went to the gym, worked out arms, chest, upper back (pulling movements), played a little basketball, then walked home (casual 7 minutes). I got out my bike; oiled it; inflated tires and rode to a store to pick up about 10 punds of meat. I had about 10g of glutamine before carbo-load. Riding was alright. Maybe some tyrosine.
