Guest guest
Harv in Michigan, I had a bone scan when I was 13, and they said my bones glowed. Which my sister thought was hysterically funny. Also, when I was 13 my orthopedists presented my case as a mystery case at an orthopedists convention and a whole convention of orthopedists scratched their heads and said they didn't know what I had. Which my orthopedists felt justified their being flummoxed. Which is why I think orthopedists are stupid. They also insisted I didn't have arthritis. I'm sure at that convention the doctors said, " Well, she's a 13 yr. old girl, so it couldn't be Reiter's. Only men get Reiter's. " How much do you want to bet? Also, in 2000 I had a hypopion uveitis with a fibrin ring (100% adhesion of the entire iris to the lens), and my opthalmologist had photographs taken of my eye to use in his teaching lectures. Which is when I knew it must be really serious. When doctors want to take pictures of you, you know you're really in bad shape.
