Guest guest
Dear group, Hello from Sydney, Australia. I am writing to find resources for my Mum, who has been diagnosed with Gall Bladder cancer. We have been told it's not a very common cancer, it is malignant and chemo/radio therapies do not have an affect on it. We have also been told it's not operable, she had CT scan, MRI, colangiograms and laproscopy investigation. The cancer has already blocked an hepatic bile duct, causing her to go jaundiced and she spent 2 weeks in hospital having a stent put in to relieve the jaundice. I have found some resources on the net but haven't posted to a group yet. I wonder if anyone here has had experience with this or knows of others who can help us understand and deal with this devastating disease. My Mum is 73, and has been fairly healthy all her life. Any help would be appreciated. many thanks Luciano Mesiti
