Guest guest
Matt, I am going to start eating a lot of yogurt, and try to live a simpler life. It seems so hard to lead a simple life in America today. Everything seems so much more complicated here. There are days I would like to throw away everything in my house and just try to have more time to just do the things I want to do. I wonder why we have so many more complications in our lives over here. I can see why ny Depp wants to raise his children in France. Slower pace. I remember a National Geo. Special on T.V. about a woman from Brazil who married a man from America. Once she was over here she could not take the isolation and ended up going back home. She also said people were disconnected. So I guess that is a common trait over here. She said that in the village she lived in everyone was family. Wouldn't that be nice. She said that everyone over here stays in their homes. I think we have lost touch with each other. When things move as fast as they do over here it leaves little time to cultivate friends and nurture your family. And this is sad, because these are our biggest assets in life. Connie NC I
Guest guest
Just my two cents worth. If your son has more then one insurance you may have to call and make sure they billed the right insurance in the right order. My son has Medicare, Blue Cross under my insurance and Medicaid HBWD. I often get a bill and I have to say, did you submit it to Medicare and then Blue Cross then  Medicaid, in that order? (I can check on line to see if Medicare or Blue Cross paid yet but not Medicaid. And if they submit it in the wrong order that causes a big mess too. My son is 30 and his own guardian so the bills do come in his name. You have to check into your co pays, annual fees and deductibles, everyone has different co pays and annual fees. I can't answer your questions as I am no expert, just letting you know my experiences. I have gotten his doctors trained in what order to bill and I never pay any bill until I call and make sure they have sent all the bills in the right order. So far after several calls, and 3 insurances, he has not had to pay anything. I am sure one of the experts will answer you. Bill had a physical for special olympics performed by his MD in September. Payment was denied by the state so was sent a bill for $195. This is his Atnea MD under the new plan, and I don't want an unpaid bill to prevent care in the future. Is this legal to bill my Bill? Is responsible for this? Am I responsible? I plan to return the bill with a copy of his public aide card; not a check; as a first step. But I'm questioning the principle.
Guest guest
, I believe one physical per year is covered by Medicaid. Angel just had one yesterday. The procedure was probably coded wrong. Doctors don't generally know if insurance companies cover procedures. Their billing clerks are the ones who know. According to my sister (her husband is a doctor), a good billing clerk is very well paid and is in high demand. > > > Are physicians allowed to bill our children? > > Bill had a physical for special olympics performed by his MD in September. > ayment was denied by the state so was sent a bill for $195.
