My mom, who is about as well adjusted as they come, got breast cancer at 69 years of age. It was scary, but a few months of radiation therapy, and she was fine. She turns 75 this year, with no signs of recurrence. I'm sorry, I just have a low tolerance for claims like this, with the words " are always " in them. Yes, I am sure that emotional issues can sometimes play a part, as can/do many other things, but I certainly do NOT believe that that is " always behind cancer.
